Reviews of Divorce Products (Guides, Programs, etc)

At the request of many visitors to The Men’s Divorce Headquarters, this is where I am going to set up a review page of the many divorce products that are available on the web today.

As you might expect, there are untold numbers of products available that claim to help you in your divorce and child custody battles. But at the same time, many of these divorce products/services/downloads don’t always deliver on what they promise. So I am going to purchase as many products as I can and try to present my most unbiased opinion and whether or not they will actually help you with your cause.

So if you are skeptical about throwing down some of your hard earned cash on a divorce product then wait as I continue to update this page on a regular basis. And if there are any products in particular that you would like me to take a look at, don’t hesitate to post a request in the comments section.

Stay tuned as this could turn out to be a very long list!

Up first will be…

1) “Insider Secrets and Strategies That Men Must Know to Win Their Divorce”

What it is… This 133 page guide is a very comprehensive run down on the divorce process in a very well-written package. It gives you good tips from the point where you are considering a divorce to what to do to get on with your life once the whole ordeal is over. Including how to deal with the range of emotions that accompany a divorce, financial issues (including personal finances, taxes, alimony & child support), dealing with divorce attorneys, the legal side of divorce, and a multitude of other issues that you can expect to encounter throughout the entire process. If you read this guide, then you are very likely to know what to expect, which will help keep any surprises to a minimum.

What is is not… I find the title to be a little misleading. There are no real super secrets revealed here that will catch anyone (including your wife’s divorce attorney) by surprise. It contains some very sound practices, but it won’t blow you away with any information that will guarantee you “a win”. But in my opinion there is no winning in a divorce, but there is such a thing as a favorable outcome. So a more fitting title to this guide might be “Sound Advice that will Help You Gain a Favorable Outcome in your Divorce”… But to the author’s credit that doesn’t quite sound as catchy, does it?

Overall… Would I recommend this guide to someone going through a divorce? Honestly…Yes. Would I talk it up like it is going to “guarantee” that you get what you want from any situation in your divorce?… Not really. It will save you a lot of time. Time spent searching the net looking for answers. Time worrying about whether or not you are doing something wrong. And the big one… Time spent asking your divorce attorney basic questions about divorce (some very expensive time when getting charged $200/hour) when you should be talking strategy and how to get things moving in the right direction. That in itself is what makes this guide quite the bargain. And with the 100% money-back guarantee, there is not much to lose here.

2) 2011 Custody Strategies for Men (Gold Package)

For me this is a no-brainer! If you have children and are fighting to remain as much as a part of their life as you can, then this collection of guides is a must. When they talk about a library that is exactly what they mean. Over 1200 pages of essential information that will keep you on top of your game when it comes to fighting for your kids. But there could be one downside to it all… information overload. There is a good chance that you might become overwhelmed by all the guides, checklists, and fact sheets, but the key is to focus one crucial step at a time. You will be able to find that answers to all your questions about custody lawyers, visitation, child support, family court, and everything in-between.

This collection was not written by lawyers! And I think that is what makes this so effective. Because if you wanted all the legalese that goes along with fighting for custody, then why not just go to your library and start reading up on some law books. No, these guides are written for fathers and that is exactly how it should be. The main authors, Dr. Barry Bricklin and Dr. Gail Elliot (you can find their biographies here) , are psychologists that have been working in the area of child custody for over 30 years… they are truly veterans in this field. They are routinely looked upon by lawyers, judges, evaluators, and especially, fathers for their expertise.

I will be 100% completely honest with you… I did not read all 1200+ pages of these guides. And seriously, you should not have to either. Just find the information that is relevant to your situation and read it over and over again. If you have a question about child custody it will be in this library… Hell if your lawyer is uncertain about some aspect of your case he/she will find it here. And if they won’t, then it is your duty as a father to do it for them!

Anyway, I really shouldn’t have to go on and on about this. I think that you get my feelings on this… If you have any questions on child custody, this library has you covered!!

I have had some questions from some folks worried about the cost. Let me put it this way… if you are worried about the money rather than doing anything and everything to remain as much as a part of your childrens’ life as possible, then you are in the wrong place to begin with! Go back to Google or Yahoo, and search for “quick, cheap divorce”, I am sure you will find what you are looking for. But getting this amount of information for same price and sitting down for 1/2 hour with you lawyer should really not take too much contemplation… But of course the decision is ultimately up to you

  1. I have seen a lot of websites talking about “Surviving Divorce Secrets”. Have you read this guide? What is your opinion? Is it worth the money?

    Thanks.

  2. Hi Tony,

I actually have not heard of that one until you pointed it out. I am assuming that you are referring to this guide. I will definitely put it on my list, and will try to get a review for you. But obviously, don’t wait on me if you don’t have the time. There is a 100% refund if you don’t find the guide useful.

And that goes for all online products!! If they are asking for anymore than $10 for their product, please make sure you there is a 100% guarantee. And if you ever have issues getting a full refund (ie. slow customer service response), contact me and I will show you some shortcuts on how to get it done quickly!

  3. Michael,

It is not my intention to get you to reveal any information about your divorce that you don’t feel comfortable with. But there are situations when you should/can take possession of the car and then there are those when it is not the wisest thing to do. But I am not familiar with what your situation is, and I never feel right about giving out any advice/suggestions without knowing the details.

But their are a couple of options to remedy this…

    - You can reply with more details about your divorce
    - You can contact me personally via the contact page

The decision is always yours to make.
